Job description
We are looking for our first dedicated Solution Engineer to join the Go-To-Market team at Apideck. As a Solution Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our customers and our platform—empowering product, engineering, and commercial teams at fast-growing SaaS companies to succeed with our integration layer.
This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities. You’ll work closely with prospects, customers, and internal teams to architect solutions, support API integrations, and ensure a smooth technical onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the technical point of contact during pre-sales conversations and onboarding.
Collaborate with customers to design and implement scalable integration solutions using Apideck’s APIs.
Assist the Sales and Customer Success teams by translating business needs into technical requirements.
Lead technical discovery calls and provide product demos tailored to engineering and product audiences.
Troubleshoot complex API-related issues and guide customers through resolution.
Contribute to improving developer documentation, guides, and other technical resources.
Serve as the feedback loop between customers and the Product/Engineering teams to help shape product roadmap and enhancements.
Continuously stay up to date with our API products and integration landscape.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a technical solutions, sales engineering, or implementation engineering role in a SaaS or API-first environment.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, authentication methods (OAuth, API keys), and JSON.
Comfortable working in developer environments (Postman, Swagger, cURL, terminal).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
Customer-first mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
Experience working with tools like Slack, CRM platforms, Customer Suppport and issue tracking systems.
Familiarity with Node.js or other scripting languages, and hands-on experience with API integrations.
